Forum Christmas Party Success
Over 110 members and their
guests enjoyed a great gathering at 293 Baker Street on December 7th 2004.
Guests at the Event include the Mayor, John Egan, the Mayoress, Councillors
Irene Richards and Penny Heathwood as well as the Chief Executive of Age
Concern Enfield, Tony Seagroatt.
Music throughout was provided
by Forum member, Maisie Anderson with a medley of old favourites and at times
she was accompanied by crooning Monty Meth.

Betty Hunter, the catering
manager, at Enfield Conservative Club produced an excellent buffet lunch
followed by traditional mince pies. The social provided members with the
opportunity to get to know each other better and to meet new faces.

Over 110 members and guests attended
The raffle was well supported
by local businesses with prizes donated by Marks & Spencers, Pearsons, the
Abetone and Puntos Restaurants in Winchmore Hill. The Chair acknowledged and
thanked all who contributed prizes including the many gifts from members.
The Mayor and Mayoress drew
the raffle that produced many gleeful faces from lucky members as well as
ensuring that the Forum did not make a loss on the event.

At the close Forum Chair,
Monty Meth, wished all those present a happy Christmas and a prosperous New
Year and thanked the Mayor and Mayoress for finding time to support the Forum.
