Monday 23rd January 2012 - Lunch - £11.00 12 - 2.30 North Enfield Conservative Club Baker St Enfield.
Buses W8 191 pass the venue and it is near Hop Poles Pub. Xmas is over and another year begins so lets brighten up January with some good food, company and a gossip. LONELY OR VULNERABLE? The Forum will be sponsoring a lonely or vulnerable elder and carer on each of its future day trips or events deemed suitable, and would like to include those who rarely get out and about. If any Forum member knows of such a person living nearby, please let the office know on 0208 807 2076, so that we can add to our current list.

Walks in Trent Country Park. First Wednesday of each month at 1.30pm. Meet at the car park next the cafe. TCP offers a variety of footpaths for walks of different lengths depending on a person’ fitness. A short walk about a little over a mile can be extended to three or more miles with walks all ending where they began. Strong footwear is essential as some of the paths can be muddy and uneven.
